Founded in 1999, Island Bee Company is a family-run apiary nestled in Vineyard Haven, Martha’s Vineyard. Spanning all six towns, their hives produce raw, single-source honey that captures the essence of the island's diverse flora. Each jar is labeled by town—be it Chilmark, Edgartown, or West Tisbury—offering a unique taste of the Vineyard's terroir. Beyond honey, they craft clean skincare products, wellness potions, and air-purifying 100% beeswax candles. Committed to sustainability, they raise their own queens, produce wax foundation from their beeswax, and build all their woodenware.Visit them at the West Tisbury Farmers’ Market during the summer to experience their full range of island-made products.
Nestled in Chilmark, Martha’s Vineyard, Grey Barn & Farm produces award-winning, certified organic cheeses and meats. Their herd of 32 Dutch Belted cows graze on 100% grass, yielding rich, flavorful milk that reflects the island's unique terroir. Cheeses like Bluebird, Prufrock, and Eidolon are handcrafted in small batches, aged to perfection, and celebrated for their distinctive taste and texture. In addition to their cheeses, they offer meats from animals raised on their certified organic land, ensuring a holistic approach to farming. Each product embodies the farm's commitment to quality, sustainability, and the island's rich agricultural heritage.
